Ancestry.com puts more military records online

Over 90 million U.S. war records have been recently added to subscription database, AncestryLibrary.com. The scope of the records stretch from the first English settlement at Jamestown in 1607 to the Vietnam War’s end in 1975. The records include draft registration cards from both World Wars, Civil War pension records, military yearbooks and more. Of course, not every record is available. Many military records remain classified or have been lost or destroyed. Muncie Public Library has a subcription to AncestryLibrary.com and the databases can accessed from any computer in the library.
