Funeral Home Records database is growing!

display_funeralhome.jpgThe “funeral home records database” on the Muncie/Delaware County Digital Resource Library includes records from Meeks Mortuary, Parson Mortuary (including Parson-Rust) and the now closed Piepho, Rhoradan and Stephens Mortuaries. This summer we added about 5,000 more Parson Mortuary records to the database.

We photocopy the records from the original books located at the funeral home. We try to get the best copy available. Be sure to use the “zoom” tool to make the records easier to read. Please note that some records have pages attached (i.e. death certificates).

If you are having difficulty reading a record or an obituary, please contact us:

pal-wahaili@munpl.org

We may be able to help you get a better copy.
